What we offer

Voice

Develop your skills and confidence with singing! Instructional time includes physical and vocal warm-ups, introduction to solfege and sight-reading, tailored song selection, practice and performance techniques, and much more. Students will gain a working understanding of breath control and support, anatomy and care of the voice, and lyrical phrasing and interpretation. Exclusively offered for students ages ten and up, or at the teacher's discretion.

Piano

Build a foundation of well-rounded musicianship! Private lessons consist of guided hands-on instruction, music notation exercises, and game-based play that leads to sight-reading. Students will gain a fundamental knowledge of rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic vocabulary, grow in musical expression and accuracy, and complete corresponding activities. Musical pieces become more challenging as your student progresses.

Online Lessons

Skip the travel fee and make music in your own home! Lessons that take place over Zoom include the same content and rigor as in-person lessons. If you're an out-of-area student and have reliable internet connection, this is the best option for you!

Sing Me A Story

This group class is for our littles! A 15-week course designed for lower elementary students, "Sing Me A Story" focuses on music literacy that will propel their learning progress, foster friendship, and encourage natural, tuneful, and confident singing. Instructional time will cover American folk song repertoire, singalong story time, music literacy games with manipulatives and crafts, puppets, props, and much more!

Audition Workshop

You can never be too prepared! Designed for junior high through high school students, this small group class gives singers the opportunity to participate in a mock audition, learn tricks of the trade, and overcome stage fright. Bring in your showtune, original song debut, college tryout, or hymn to analyze, cut, and sing in a small group setting. Learn from insightful feedback of your own performance and observation from your peers.

Weddings and Memorials

Highlight life's special moments with live music. Morgan Powers (soprano) offers professional singing services for your upcoming wedding, memorial, or special event (classical, hymns, gospel, CCM, golden age and jazz standards, and more). Receive an initial consultation, personalized music selection, and piano accompaniment when you book today. To request Morgan for a special event in your area, send an inquiry for pricing.
